8 Days / 7 Nights Itinerary
Day 1: Trek from Londorossi Gate (2,100 meters) to Mti Mkubwa Camp (2,800 meters).
Hiking Time: 3-4 hours | Distance: 7 km (4.3 miles) | Habitat: Rainforest
Day 2: Ascend to Shira Camp 1 (3,500 meters), crossing through moorland.
Hiking Time: 5-6 hours | Distance: 8 km (5 miles) | Habitat: Moorland
Day 3: Trek to Shira Camp 2 (3,840 meters), enjoy the stunning views across the Shira Plateau.
Hiking Time: 3-4 hours | Distance: 7 km (4.3 miles) | Habitat: Moorland
Day 4: Acclimatization hike to Lava Tower (4,630 meters) and return to Moir Hut (4,200 meters).
Hiking Time: 5-7 hours | Distance: 10 km (6.2 miles) | Habitat: Alpine Desert
Day 5: Trek from Moir Hut to Barranco Camp (3,960 meters) via Lava Tower.

Day 6: Ascend the Barranco Wall and continue to Karanga Camp (4,035 meters).
